The first leg of our journey has begun! We landed in Reykjavik at 11:30 PM and decided, since we had the midnight sun on our side, we would do some exploring until we could check into our early home stay. Sadly, things didn't go as planned and we ended up having to spend about 24 hours awake. We made it through by exploring Reykjavik, finding some cool graffiti/street art and waiting it out in a cafe. Here is my clip for a Life in a day . In Reykjavik,Iceland on the 24rth of july 2010,the weahter was great . And that is an important factor in ICeland, because the weather is not always great here. But in the summer time, the sun is up and around day and night, but in winter time ,december and januray , you rarely see the sun. And in summer time , on the weekends, there is always someting going on , for people to see and enjoy. At the beach in Reykjavik, there was a handball competition,in the sand. Many attended and enjoyed the sport, and the weather. You can also see whalewatching ships in Reykjavik harbour, and also the Whale hunting ship,on the other side of the docks. At Reykjavik harbour there where cruise liners, and in Reykjavik, there where two Danish Navy ships, and the helicpt...

Ever since October, Icelanders have been gathering every Saturday at 3 pm in front of the Parliament (Alþingi) to express their anger towards th...
